Hardly any other landscape in Europe offers as much "wild nature" from the valleys to the highest elevations as the Salzkammergut. Especially on the extensive karst plateaus of the Dachstein massif, the Totes Gebirge and the Höllengebirge, a largely untouched landscape and nature has been preserved that can otherwise only be found in national parks.
Our themed exhibition focuses on the diversity of wildlife, which can also be observed on hikes with a little luck and perseverance.
The exhibition shows the creatures in their natural environment and is designed as a "discovery tour" for the known and unknown in the various habitats.
