Giant beetle and color miracle

This special exhibition is currently with us to admire.

Worldwide, about 350,000 species of these six-legged "crawlers" have been described to date and they fascinate with their sometimes astonishing size, diverse structures, shapes and especially colors. Our exhibition shows only some of them, but also some native species.

Many beetles have many enemies... We show not only the largest, heaviest and most beautiful beetle species, but also some of their main predators, such as hornbills and parrots.

In addition to the predominantly exotic species, the "giants" of the native beetle world can also be marveled at: stag beetles and rhinoceros beetles
